Pakistan power-hitter Fakhar Zaman said people will see batsman Babar Azam perform in the 2025 Champions Trophy.
Azam has been going through a rough patch lately, but has been working hard to rediscover his form with the bat.
Despite showing some signs of getting back to his best, especially during the South Africa tour, the 30-year-old has not been able to maintain it consistently.
Azam recently featured in the ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa, but only managed to make 62 runs in three matches at an average of 20.66.
Despite this, Zaman is optimistic that the Lahore native will set the Champions Trophy alight by scoring big runs.
“Babar Azam has a class of his own. You will see that he will perform,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
The Champions Trophy will be held from February 19 to March 9.
