Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan has revealed that he bowls with the new ball non-stop for one to two hours.
Sajid has enjoyed a lot of success in Test cricket thus far, taking 59 wickets in 12 matches, which includes four five-wicket hauls, at an average of 27.28.
Most recently, he was involved in Pakistan’s two-Test series against the West Indies in Multan, where he claimed 15 wickets, which included a five-for, at an average of 17.
“I’ve worked with my head coach in Peshawar, Zohaib Khan, to prepare with the new ball. I’ve bowled with him a lot with the new Dukes ball, and worked on it a lot. We used to work on bowling with the new ball for one to two hours on end,” the 31-year-old was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.
Sajid has yet to make his ODI and T20I debut and was therefore not included in Pakistan’s team for the ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa, and the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will be held from February 19 to March 9.
