Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan: “I will look to learn something new if I get any opportunity to play in the white-ball formats in the future”

Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan has expressed his desire to play limited overs cricket in the future in order to learn something new.
Sajid has only been used in Test cricket thus far, where he has taken 59 wickets in 12 matches, which includes four five-wicket hauls, at an average of 27.28.
Recently, the 31-year-old was in action in Pakistan’s two-Test series against the West Indies in Multan and finished with 15 wickets, which included a five-for, at an average of 17.
Having shown great promise in the longest format, Sajid is now eager for the opportunity to represent his country in ODIs and T20Is.
“I will look to learn something new if I get any opportunity to play in the white-ball formats in the future,” he was quoted as saying by Samaa TV.
It remains to be seen if Sajid will be given the chance to play white-ball cricket in the future, but he won’t be appearing in the ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa.
He also hasn’t been picked in Pakistan’s team for the 2025 Champions Trophy, which is scheduled to be held from February 19 to March 9.
