Sajid Khan: “Saim Ayub and Salman Agha, you both were brilliant! Keep it up”

Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan has praised batsmen Saim Ayub and Salman Ali Agha for their performance during the recent tour of South Africa.
Ayub began by scoring 129 runs in two T20Is, which included a career-best knock of 98 not out, at an average of 129.
As for Salman, he didn’t feature in the T20Is, but returned for the three-match ODI series, where he amassed 163 runs, which included a career-best knock of 82 not out, at an average of 81.50.
In addition to that, he also took five wickets at an average of 22.
Ayub, meanwhile, accumulated 235 runs in three ODIs, which included two centuries, at an average of 78.33.
On top of his sensational batting, the 22-year-old claimed two wickets at an average of 34.
Pakistan and South Africa then played a two-Test series and Ayub made 41 runs at an average of 20.50. However, it should be noted that he didn’t bat in the 2nd Test in Cape Town as he fractured his ankle while fielding on the opening day and will be out of action for up to six weeks.
Salman mustered 86 runs in total at an average of 21.50 and also picked up three wickets at an average of 57.66.
With Ayub and Salman having become crucial members of the Pakistan team, Sajid wants to see them keep doing well with both the bat and ball.

Pakistan’s next assignment will be a two-Test series against the West Indies, which will take place in Karachi and Multan from January 16 to 28.
