Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Rashid Latif said spinner Sufiyan Muqeem has been “unplayable” as of late.

Muqeem has been utilised more often by the men in green in limited overs cricket and has shown incredible promise so far.

In the three-match T20I series against Australia, he took two wickets in two games at an average of 15.

He then went to Zimbabwe with the national team and claimed wickets in three T20Is, which included a five-wicket haul, at an astounding average of 4.66.

Pakistan are now in South Africa and the 25-year-old kicked off his campaign with one wicket in one T20I at an average of 53.

He then got the chance to make his ODI debut and didn’t disappoint as he picked up four wickets at an average of 13.

“Unplayable Sufiyan,” Latif said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Pakistan and South Africa are currently involved in a two-Test series, which the Proteas lead 1-0 after winning the 1st Test in Centurion by two wickets.

The 2nd Test started on January 3 in Cape Town.
