Fakhar Zaman: “When he played for Pakistan, he was quite wayward and his focus was on speed mostly. However, he has improved his accuracy now”

Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman has admitted that pace bowler Muhammad Musa Khan only focused on his speed when he was playing international cricket between 2019 and 2020.
Since he was only concerned with how fast he was bowling, Zaman conceded that the 24-year-old bowled “quite wayward” and didn’t have the amount of success he would have wanted to.
Musa has worked hard to better his bowling and it has paid dividends as he was the second-highest wicket-taker in the Champions T20 Cup, where he took 16 wickets in nine matches for the Lions at an average of 18.06.
He has also been a force to be reckoned with in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy as he is the highest wicket-taker with 38 wickets in five games for Islamabad Region, which includes five five-wicket hauls, at an astonishing average of 9.81.
Having seen Musa’s incredible performances lately, Zaman is glad that the talented youngster invested the time to work on improving his accuracy.

The Pakistan team recently travelled to Australia and won the ODI series 2-1 before getting battered 3-0 in the T20Is.
They then went to Zimbabwe and triumphed 2-1 in both the ODI and T20I series.
Currently, the men in green are in South Africa and lost the T20I series 2-0 before bouncing back to whitewash the Proteas 3-0 in the ODIs.
As for the two-Test series, South Africa are 1-0 up after winning the 1st Test in Centurion by two wickets.
The 2nd Test will get underway on January 3 in Cape Town.
