Pakistan batsman Sahibzada Farhan wants to be given a proper chance to prove himself in international cricket.
He believes the only way to do this is to get a prolonged run in the team, where he can see consistent game time.
Farhan pointed out that it is impossible to deem whether a player is good or not based off their performance in one or two games.
“There’s always pressure in international cricket, but one or two matches aren’t enough to judge a player’s career. In my opinion, it’s essential to give players a fair chance, like five or six matches, to prove themselves,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
The 28-year-old was recently in action in Pakistan’s T20I series against Australia, where he made 22 runs at an average of 7.33.
The men in green were whitewashed 3-0, but won the ODI leg of the tour 2-1, which gave them their first ODI series win in Australia since 2002.
