
Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Rohail Nazir: “I have been working hard on my T20 batting and on improvisation in Islamabad”

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Rohail Nazir revealed he has been working hard on his T20 batting as of late.
He noted that he has also been paying special attention to his improvisation, so he can be more versatile and play shots that the opposition doesn’t expect.
The 23-year-old is one of many young up-and-coming talents in the country and will no doubt he looking to secure a place in the national team in the near future.
So far, Nazir has featured in three T20Is, all of which came during the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Lately, he has been involved in various matches for different teams, including the Pakistan Shaheens, Islamabad Region in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, and Pakistan A, for whom he made 55 runs in their first unofficial Test against Sri Lanka A.
“I have been working hard on my T20 batting and on improvisation in Islamabad,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Nazir was not selected for Pakistan’s two-Test series against Bangladesh, which they lost 2-0, or their three-Test series against England, which they won 2-1.
Recently, the men in green were involved in a white-ball series against Australia and won the ODI leg 2-1.
As for the T20Is, Australia whitewashed Pakistan 3-0.
Pakistan will now embark on a tour of Zimbabwe, where they will play three ODIs and three T20Is from November 24 to December 5.
