Ihsanullah: “If I compare Bumrah, then Naseem Shah is a better bowler than Bumrah. Naseem Shah also performed like this in the (2022) World Cup. It doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t perform too well in a year. Still, Naseem Shah is better than him”

Ihsanullah believes fellow Pakistan seamer Naseem Shah is a better bowler than India pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.
Naseem has become an integral part of Pakistan’s fast bowling attack in all three formats and has taken plenty of wickets.
However, many would think that Bumrah is on another level, given everything he has accomplished in his career thus far.
Even when told about Bumrah’s statistics being superior to Naseem’s, Ihsanullah stood firm in his belief that the Pakistan pacer is better.
“If I compare Bumrah, then Naseem Shah is a better bowler than Bumrah. Naseem Shah also performed like this in the (2022) World Cup. It doesn’t matter if someone doesn’t perform too well in a year. Still, Naseem Shah is better than him,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Naseem recently featured in Pakistan’s three-Test series against England and took two wickets in one match at an average of 78.50.
He was subsequently removed from the squad for the second and third Tests as the men in green went on to win 2-1, which was their first Test series victory on home soil since 2021.
Naseem is now in action in Pakistan’s white-ball series against Australia, which consists of three ODIs and three T20Is.
In the ODI series, he claimed five wickets at an average of 31.60 as Pakistan triumphed 2-1, which gave them their first ODI series win in Australia since 2002.
Following their tour of Australia, the men in green will head to Zimbabwe to play three ODIs and three T20Is from November 24 to December 5.
