
Salman Ali Agha: “I have been playing with the tail for some time now and I feel it brings the best out of me when I am playing with tailenders”

Pakistan middle order batsman Salman Ali Agha has admitted that batting with the tailenders brings the best out of him.
Salman often finds himself in this situation and admitted that he is accustomed to it and knows what needs to be done in order to ensure Pakistan post a competitive total.
The 30-year-old from Lahore has become a key member of the middle order and has produced a number of fantastic performances since making his Test debut in 2022.
During the two-Test series against Bangladesh, he amassed 120 runs, which included a top score of 54, at an average of 40.
Most recently, he was involved in the three-Test series against England and finished with 262 runs, which included a hundred and two half-centuries, at an average of 65.50.
“I have been playing with the tail for some time now and I feel it brings the best out of me when I am playing with tailenders,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan ended up beating England 2-1, which earned them their first Test series win on home soil since 2021.
