Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf is aiming to make a comeback at the 2025 Champions Trophy.
Faheem used to be the country’s go-to all-rounder and showed plenty of promise early on.
However, he was unable to have an impact with the bat and ball on a consistent basis, which eventually led to him losing his place in the team.
Even though his last game for Pakistan came in December 2023, the 30-year-old isn’t giving up on his chances of returning to international cricket.
“The aim is always to give my best for the team I’m playing for. As long as I have the strength, I will continue playing cricket; once I don’t have the strength, I will stop,” Faheem was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
“The desire and effort are always to perform well in every match. I will try to perform well here and make a comeback to the national team for the Champions Trophy.”

He also took seven wickets at an average of 28.14.
The Kasur native was then in action for Pakistan Television in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) competition and finished as the second-highest run-scorer with 264 runs in five matches, which included three fifties, at an average of 66.
In addition to this, he claimed six wickets at an average of 32.
The Pakistan team recently faced Bangladesh in a two-Test series and were beaten 2-0.
They are now taking on England in a three-match Test series, which is tied at 1-1.
