Ian Bishop: “Mentor him well Pakistan”

Former West Indies fast bowler Ian Bishop is hoping Pakistan mentor 16-year-old pace sensation Ali Raza well.
Raza shot to prominence with his brilliant performances in domestic cricket, starting with the Champions One-Day Cup, which was a domestic 50-over competition held in Faisalabad.
In three matches for the Panthers, he took four wickets at an average of 25.50.
Raza then represented the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) tournament and finished as the joint fourth-highest wicket-taker with eight wickets in four matches at an average of 32.75.
Given the talent the teenager possesses, Bishop doesn’t want to see it go to waste and urged Pakistan to keep supporting his development.
“Mentor him well Pakistan,” the renowned cricket commentator said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Pakistan team recently took on Bangladesh in a two-Test series and were beaten 2-0.
They are now involved in a three-match Test series against England, which is tied at 1-1.
The third Test will begin on October 24 in Rawalpindi.
