Pakistan pace bowler Mohammad Hasnain has expressed his excitement at the prospect of playing international cricket again in the near future.
Hasnain has been in phenomenal form in domestic cricket lately and is no doubt capturing the attention of the national selectors.
The 24-year-old, who is capable of hitting speeds of 150 kph, recently played in the Champions One-Day Cup, which was a domestic 50-over competition that took place in Faisalabad.
He finished as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 17 wickets in six matches for the Panthers at an average of 16.17.
Following this, Hasnain represented Pakistan Television in the President’s Cup Grade-I (1-Day) tournament and was the joint third-highest wicket-taker with nine victims in four games at an average of 19.55.
Having been a dominant force, the rapid youngster is eager to win back his spot in the national team.
“I am really looking forward to representing Pakistan again,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Pakistan team recently took on Bangladesh in a two-Test series and were beaten 2-0.
They are now facing England in a three-match Test series and trail 1-0 after losing the first Test in Multan by an innings and 47 runs.
The second Test started on October 15 in Multan.
