Younis Khan: “He has achieved a lot at such a young age, but he needs to know what he wants to achieve in the future”

Iconic Pakistan batsman Younis Khan believes Babar Azam needs to know what he wants to achieve in the future after accomplishing so much “at such a young age”.
Many former and current cricketers feel the 29-year-old can become one of, if not, the best batsman Pakistan has ever produced.
However, instead of listening to outside voices, Younis insisted it is imperative that Azam decide what goals he wants to tick off as his career progresses.
“He has achieved a lot at such a young age, but he needs to know what he wants to achieve in the future,” he was quoted as saying by Sports Tak.
Azam played in Pakistan’s two-Test series against Bangladesh, but didn’t have much of an impact as he was limited to 64 runs at an average of 16.
He then featured for the Stallions in the Champions One-Day Cup, which was a domestic 50-over competition that took place in Faisalabad.
In the four games he played, he accumulated 230 runs, which included a century and a fifty, at an average of 76.66.
Most recently, the Lahore-born batsman was involved in Pakistan’s three-Test series against England and made scores of 30 and 5 in the first Test in Multan, which the men in green lost by an innings and 47 runs.
Azam has been dropped for the second and third Tests against England, along with the pace duo of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah.
The second Test will get underway on October 15 in Multan.
