Rashid Latif: “Pakistan cricket is currently in the ICU (intensive care unit). They will need a professional doctor”

Former captain Rashid Latif is ashamed of how badly the national team has been playing, saying “Pakistan cricket is currently in the ICU (intensive care unit)”.
The men in green have endured a number of embarrassing losses lately, including against the United States of America in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
They were also whitewashed 2-0 in their Test series against Bangladesh despite playing both matches on home soil in Rawalpindi.
Most recently, they were thrashed by an innings and 47 runs in the first Test against England in Multan despite scoring 556 runs in the first innings.
“Pakistan cricket is currently in the ICU (intensive care unit). They will need a professional doctor,” Latif was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
After being crushed in the first Test against England, the men in green made multiple changes to their squad, which included dropping Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah.
The second Test will get underway on October 15 in Multan.
