Legendary batsman Younis Khan has accused some of the Pakistan players of talking too much instead of focusing on improving their game.
Younis did not name any cricketers in particular, but pointed out that there is a trend of this in the national team.
The men in green haven’t been getting the results expected of them lately, with their most recent embarrassment coming at the hands of Bangladesh, who whitewashed them 2-0 in a Test series held in Rawalpindi.
Rather than speaking, Younis wants the Pakistan players to work on getting better so they can contribute more and win matches.
“Some of the players talk more instead of focusing on their game,” he was quoted as saying by Samaa TV.
After the Bangladesh Test series, many of the national players took part in the Champions One-Day Cup, which was a domestic 50-over competition held in Faisalabad.
Currently, Pakistan are facing England in a three-match Test series, which got underway on October 7 in Multan.
