Yasir Arafat: “Pakistan Super League (PSL) has damaged Pakistan cricket. Players are not willing to play Test cricket any more”

Former Pakistan all-rounder Yasir Arafat believes the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has damaged cricket in the country.
He noted that many players are only focused on featuring in the star-studded T20 tournament and have no interest in playing Test cricket.
Arafat’s comments come after the men in green’s two-Test series against Bangladesh, which they lost 2-0 despite playing both games on home soil in Rawalpindi.
“Pakistan Super League (PSL) has damaged Pakistan cricket. Players are not willing to play Test cricket any more,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Many of the national players are now in action in the Champions One-Day Cup, which is a domestic 50-over tournament going on in Faisalabad.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a three-match Test series against England, which is scheduled to be played from October 7 to 28 in Multan and Rawalpindi.
