Bangladesh fast bowler Hasan Mahmud has praised the country of Pakistan, saying it is “very safe” and “very beautiful”.
His comments come after both nations played two Tests, with Bangladesh claiming their first-ever series win over the men in green.
Mahmud played an instrumental role in his side’s historic triumph, taking eight wickets at an average of 24.12.
The 24-year-old from Laxmipur admitted he was highly impressed with the security measures in place during the Test series and insisted that anyone “can come here anytime”.
“Pakistan is very beautiful, we are loving it here. Pakistan is very safe, and you can come here anytime. The weather is lovely, and security here is top-class too,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Many of the Pakistan players are now taking part in the Champions One-Day Cup, which is a domestic 50-over competition being held in Faisalabad.
The men in green will be back in action next month when they go up against England in a three-match Test series, which is scheduled to be played from October 7 to 28.
