Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik has reiterated his stance that he is no longer interested in playing international cricket.
Malik last represented his country in November 2021 and despite being active in domestic cricket, he has shut down any potential of making a comeback.
Having already retired from Tests and ODIs, the 42-year-old from Sialkot confirmed that he will ultimately walk away from T20Is as well.
“I’ve already said that I do not have any interest in playing for the Pakistan cricket team. I’ve already retired from two formats, Tests and ODIs. In T20Is, I do not have any interest in playing for the Pakistan team. So my plan is to retire from all forms of cricket once and for all,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.
The men in green recently went up against Bangladesh in a two-Test series, but ended up being whitewashed 2-0.
Next up for them will be a three-match Test series against England, which will be played from October 7 to 28.
