Wahab Riaz: “Babar is one of the most consistent players in world cricket”

Former Pakistan left-arm seamer Wahab Riaz said white-ball captain Babar Azam is among the most consistent cricketers in the world.
Azam has established a reputation for himself based on his ability to score runs regularly in all three formats.
The 29-year-old led by example with the bat once again for the men in green during the 2024 T20 World Cup as he was the team’s highest run-scorer with 122 runs in four matches at an average of 40.66 and a strike-rate of 101.66.
“Babar is one of the most consistent players in world cricket,” Wahab, who previously as a national selector, told Cricket Pakistan.
Pakistan lost to the United States of America and India in the T20 World Cup before fighting back to defeat Canada and Ireland.
Despite winning those two games, the men in green were eliminated in the group stage of the competition.
