Pakistan big-hitter Mohammad Haris said India batting maestro Virat Kohli is a “fighter” and has a “never-give-up attitude”, both of which are things he really likes.
Additionally, Haris praised Kohli for challenging himself to do well against every team he faces, which according to the 23-year-old from Peshawar, is “the attitude a player should have”.
Kohli is considered to be the best batsman in the modern era by many former and current players as he has achieved incredible success and won numerous matches for India.
“Virat bhai is a fighter, he has won India so many games. He has that never-give-up attitude which I like. Whenever he plays against a team he takes it as a challenge. This is the attitude a player should have,” Haris told Star Sports as quoted by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Haris was not part of Pakistan’s squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, where the men in green lost to the United States of America and India before bouncing back to take down Canada and Ireland.
Despite triumphing in those two games, the men in green ended up being knocked out in the group stage of the competition.
