Shadab Khan: “I struggled in the last three months, but that’s the beauty of cricket. Suddenly you start performing, and hopefully, that continues with Pakistan as well”

Pakistan spinner Shadab Khan said he is back in form again after a rough few months, which he described as “the beauty of cricket”.
Shadab has not been able to take a wicket in international cricket since Pakistan’s T20I series against New Zealand in April 2024.
In the 2024 T20 World Cup, the 25-year-old went wicketless in the four games he played and didn’t even bowl in Pakistan’s matches against India and Canada.
However, the Mianwali native was unstoppable during the recent Lanka Premier League (LPL), where he finished as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 17 wickets in nine matches for the Colombo Strikers at an average of 12.17 and an economy rate of 6.46.
Having dominated in the LPL, Shadab now hopes to do the same for the men in green going forward.
“I struggled in the last three months, but that’s the beauty of cricket. Suddenly you start performing, and hopefully, that continues with Pakistan as well,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
