Aakash Chopra, the former India batsman, said there is a lot to like about Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan.
Rizwan has been one of Pakistan’s bright spots as of late, even though the team has gone through a rough patch and not achieved the results expected of them.
Most recently, the 32-year-old from Peshawar was in action in the 2024 T20 World Cup and accumulated 110 runs in four matches, which included a top score of 53 not out, at an average of 36.66 and a strike-rate of 90.90.
“Mohammad Rizwan – I like this player a lot,” Chopra said on his YouTube channel as quoted by Cricket Pakistan.
Pakistan started their T20 World Cup campaign with successive losses to the United States of America and India before bouncing back to defeat Canada and Ireland.
However, those two wins went in vain as the men in green ended up being knocked out in the group stage of the competition.
