Pakistan spinner Usman Qadir is eager to represent his country in all three formats and is ready to show what he can do with the ball.

Qadir has featured in one ODI and 25 T20Is to date, but has yet to make his Test debut.

The 30-year-old, who is the son of legendary Pakistan spinner Abdul Qadir, acknowledged that he should play more first-class cricket as it will help his chances of getting selected again.

Qadir last played international cricket in October 2023 and is confident that he will get another chance to play for the national team if he keeps performing well.

“I want to play Test as well as white-ball cricket, playing in first-class [cricket] would be helpful and my job is to perform wherever I get the chance,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.

The Pakistan team was recently involved in the 2024 T20 World Cup and lost to the United States of America and India before bouncing back to beat Canada and Ireland.

Even though they ended the group stage on a high, it was not enough to earn them a spot in the Super Eights.
