Sanjay Manjrekar: “Shaheen Shah Afridi is not what he was”

Former India batsman Sanjay Manjrekar believes Pakistan pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi is not the bowler he used to be.
Manjrekar feels as if the 24-year-old has taken a step backwards as he is not performing near his best right now.
Afridi was recently in action in the 2024 T20 World Cup and picked up five wickets in four matches at an average of 21 and an economy rate of 6.56.
“Shaheen Shah Afridi is not what he was,” Manjrekar was quoted as saying by Geo Super.
Pakistan lost to the United States of America and India in the T20 World Cup before fighting back to take down Canada and Ireland.
Even though they triumphed in those two games, the men in green failed to progress to the Super Eights.
