Kamran Akmal: “This doesn’t feel like a Pakistan team. It feels like a club team”

Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal voiced his anger towards the national team for their dismal performance in the 2024 T20 World Cup, saying “it feels like a club team”.
The men in green started the tournament with a shock loss to the United States of America before losing a low-scoring thriller against India.
Despite bouncing back and claiming wins over Canada and Ireland, it was not enough to get them through to the Super Eights.
Akmal was appalled by the team’s campaign and said this is not the Pakistan team he knows as in the 2022 T20 World Cup, they made it to the final.
“This doesn’t feel like a Pakistan team. It feels like a club team,” he said on his YouTube channel as quoted by NDTV.
