Shahid Afridi: “He is experienced and knows how to bowl yorkers”

Legendary Pakistan big-hitting all-rounder Shahid Afridi has lauded left-arm speedster Mohammad Amir, saying he “knows how to bowl yorkers”.
Amir reversed his decision to retire from international cricket earlier in 2024 and has since represented Pakistan in multiple T20I series, which came against New Zealand, Ireland and England.
Most recently, he was in action in the 2024 T20 World Cup and picked up seven wickets in four games at an average of 10.28 and an economy rate of 4.50.
“He is experienced and knows how to bowl yorkers,” Afridi was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Pakistan began their T20 World Cup campaign with successive losses to the United States of America and India before rebounding to beat Canada and Ireland.
Even though they ended the group stage on a high, it was not enough to take them through to the Super Eights.
