Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has praised the pace trio of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf, saying they have performed well for the last four years.
Afridi, Naseem and Rauf form the core of Pakistan’s fast bowling attack in limited overs cricket, with each player having become a deadly wicket-taker.
All of them are capable of being match-winners and Amir acknowledged that it’s great to see the men in green have so many talented speedsters at their disposal.
“Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Afridi have been performing well for the past four years,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
In the 2024 T20 World Cup, Afridi took five wickets in four matches at an average of 21 and an economy rate of 6.56, while Naseem finished with five wickets in three games at an average of 14.20 and an economy rate of 5.91.

Despite this, they ended up being eliminated in the group stage of the tournament.
