Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan has heaped praise on the pace trio of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir, calling them the “best bowlers in the world”.
Afridi and Naseem have long been Pakistan’s go-to fast bowlers in all three formats, while Amir recently reversed his decision to retire from international cricket and made a comeback to the national team.
The trio were all in solid form in Pakistan’s five-match T20I series against New Zealand and three-match T20I series, which ended as a 2-2 draw and 2-1 in favour of the men in green respectively.
“Shaheen, Naseem and Amir are the best bowlers in the world,” Rizwan was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan just finished playing a four-match T20I series against England, which they lost 2-0
They will now be in action in the 2024 T20 World Cup, which is taking place in the West Indies and United States of America.
Pakistan’s first T20 World Cup game will be against the United States of America in Dallas on June 6.

Difficult to answer – it could be. ! However, Naseem Shah has lately lost his sting with the ball. Shaheen Shah not fully bending his back to avoid recurrence of old injury. So Pakistan in a very tricky situation prior advent of World Cup.
