Babar Azam thinks Mohammad Haris is a better talent than Azam Khan

Pakistan limited overs captain Babar Azam believes big-hitting batsman Mohammad Haris is a better talent than Azam Khan.
Babar voiced his opinion while speaking to former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja.
It should be noted that Haris has not represented Pakistan since September 2023, while Azam is in the squad and has shown rare flashes of brilliance in the 12 T20Is he has played.
Nonetheless, Babar still thinks Haris is a superior talent when compared to Azam.
In the five-match T20I series against New Zealand, Babar amassed 125 runs, which included a top score of 69, at an average of 31.25 and a strike-rate of 138.88.
As for Azam, he missed the series due to a grade one tear in his right calf muscle.
Following this, the men in green played three T20Is against Ireland and Babar scored 132 runs, which included two fifties, at an average of 44 and a strike-rate of 148.31.
Azam, meanwhile, thumped 48 runs at an average of 48 and a strike-rate of 266.66.
Pakistan are now facing England in a four-match T20I series and find themselves 1-0 down after losing the second game by 23 runs.
After this, they will be involved in the 2024 T20 World Cup, which will be held in the West Indies and United States of America from June 1 to 29.
Pakistan’s first T20 World Cup game will be against the United States of America in Dallas on June 6.
