Pakistan captain Babar Azam said Mohammad Haris and Shan Masood are versatile batsmen as they are capable of batting at any position in T20Is.
Haris is one of the biggest power-hitting talents in the country and has showcased his big shots on a number of occasions.
As for Masood, he is a senior batsman who usually bats in the top order, but has been ignored by the national selectors lately.
With the men in green making regular changes to their team in the shortest format, Azam pointed out that Haris and Masood could be utilised in different ways if they are selected.
“Haris and Shan have experience of batting at different numbers,” he was quoted as saying by Geo Super.
Azam recently captained Pakistan in their five-match T20I series against New Zealand and made 125 runs in five games, which included a top score of 69, at an average of 31.25 and a strike-rate of 138.88.
He is now involved in the three-match T20I series against Ireland and struck 57 and 0 in the first two games. The series is currently tied at 1-1 going into the third match on May 14.
Following this, the men in green will play four T20Is against England from May 22 to May 30.
