Adil Rashid on Babar Azam: “It happens in cricket as it’s part and parcel of this game and sometimes I might get him out. Hopefully, when he comes here, I will try to get him out again”

England leg-spinner Adil Rashid has admitted that he will be looking to get Pakistan limited overs captain Babar Azam out in the upcoming four-match T20I series.
Azam has often been the backbone of Pakistan’s line-up and his dismissal could potentially spark a batting collapse.
Fully aware of how important it is to get Azam out as early as possible, Rashid reiterated that he will target the 29-year-old.
“It happens in cricket as it’s part and parcel of this game and sometimes I might get him out. Hopefully, when he comes here, I will try to get him out again,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Azam recently led the men in green in a five-match T20I series against New Zealand and made 125 runs in five games, which included a top score of 69, at an average of 31.25 and a strike-rate of 138.88.
Currently, he is featuring in the team’s three-match T20I series against Ireland, where he has made scores of 57 and 0. The series is tied at 1-1 going into the third game on May 14.
The T20I series between Pakistan and England will be held from May 22 to 30.
