Former Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja has admitted that he was scared of 1992 World Cup winning captain Imran Khan as he “had zero tolerance for nonsense.”

Imran is widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s greatest captains and is arguably the country’s best-ever all-rounder.

The 71-year-old became involved in politics after his illustrious cricketing career and went on to serve as Pakistan’s Prime Minister from 2018 to 2022.

Given how strict he was when captaining the Pakistan team, Ramiz reiterated that he never wanted to get on Imran’s bad side.

“You cannot even imagine how much I was afraid of Imran Khan because he was a captain who had zero tolerance for nonsense,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X, formerly known as Twitter.
