Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan said wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan hits the biggest sixes because he is the “king of strength.”
Azam is one of the top power-hitters in Pakistan and has showcased his firepower on multiple occasions in various T20 leagues around the world.
Recently, the 25-year-old played for Islamabad United in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and scored 226 runs in 12 matches, which included a top score of 75, at an average of 25.11 and a strike-rate of 171.21.
“King of strength Azam Khan. This is why he hits the biggest 6s,” Shadab said in a reel he uploaded on Facebook.
Shadab captained Islamabad in PSL 9 and took 14 wickets in 12 games at an average of 26.85 and an economy rate of 8.54.
He also scored 305 runs, which included three fifties, at an average of 30.50 and a strike-rate of 142.52.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a five-match T20I series against New Zealand, which will be held in Rawalpindi and Lahore from April 18 to 27.
