Former West Indies seamer Ian Bishop has been nothing short of amazed by Pakistan fast bowler’s performances as of late, saying he is “bowling like a dream.”
Naseem made his return from a shoulder injury in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and looked as good as ever as he troubled batsmen with his pace and swing.
The 21-year-old unleashed numerous unplayable deliveries throughout the tournament and ended up finishing with 15 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 22.20 and an economy rate of 7.56.
Having been a commentator in PSL 9, Bishop got the opportunity to see Naseem’s bowling firsthand and it is safe to say he was absolutely blown away.
“Naseem Shah is bowling like a dream,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Islamabad were crowned PSL 9 champions after beating the Multan Sultans by two wickets in the final.
