Former Pakistan team director and interim head coach Mohammad Hafeez has admitted that fast bowler Naseem Shah is so good to watch, it is “like an addiction.”

Naseem made his comeback to competitive cricket in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) after spending months on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.

Throughout PSL 9, the 21-year-old looked as if he hadn’t missed a beat as he took 15 wickets in 11 matches for Islamabad United at an average of 22.20 and an economy rate of 7.56.

“Naseem Shah is like an addiction to watch,” Hafeez was quoted as saying by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Islamabad ended up being crowned PSL 9 champions after they beat the Multan Sultans by two wickets in the final.
