Pakistan spinner Usama Mir has admitted that it felt good to get batting superstar Babar Azam out in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
He admitted that dismissing Azam was by far his favourite wicket in PSL 9 since the 29-year-old looks invincible when at the crease.
Mir was a wicket-taking machine throughout the tournament and finished as the highest wicket-taker with 24 wickets in 12 games for the Multan Sultans at an average of 15.87 and an economy rate of 8.13.
“Taking Babar Azam’s wicket was by far the best. The way he (Babar) plays, it looks like he wouldn’t get out by anyone,” the Sialkot native was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
