Junaid Khan: “Zeeshan is highly talented but his biomechanics have a lot of issues”

Pakistan Under-19 bowling coach Junaid Khan has acknowledged that 6 ft 8 in fast bowler Mohammad Zeeshan is “highly talented”, but he pointed out that there are big problems with his biomechanics.
Zeeshan has burst onto the scene due to his height and his wicket-taking capabilities, which he has showcased with the Pakistan Under-19 squad.
Since the Faisalabad native is only 17 years old, Junaid knows he has plenty of time to work on the issues that are stopping him from becoming a better bowler.
“Zeeshan is highly talented but his biomechanics have a lot of issues,” he told PakPassion.
Zeeshan recently played for the Peshawar Zalmi in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and took one wicket in three matches at an average of 112 and an economy rate of 10.18.
The Zalmi made it to the playoffs, but suffered a seven-wicket loss to the Multan Sultans in the Qualifier.
They then proceeded to lose to Islamabad United by five wickets in Eliminator 2, which ended their campaign.
