Usama Mir: “In future, Faisal Akram is going to play for Pakistan and bring a lot of success”

Pakistan spinner Usama Mir has backed Faisal Akram to play for the national team in the future and have plenty of success.
Faisal is one of the up-and-coming left-arm spinners in the country and has shown plenty of promise so far.
The 20-year-old recently played for the Multan Sultans in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and took two wickets in two matches at an average of 20.50 and an economy rate of 8.20.
Having seen what the youngster is capable of doing, Mir reiterated it is only a matter of time before he is playing for Pakistan.
“Future me Faisal Akram Pakistan k liye khelega or bohat success layega (In future, Faisal Akram is going to play for Pakistan and bring a lot of success),” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion.
Mir also represented the Sultans in PSL 9 and played an instrumental role in leading them to the final, where they lost to Islamabad United by two wickets.
The 28-year-old finished as the highest wicket-taker with 24 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 15.87 and an economy rate of 8.13.
