Pakistan fast bowler Zaman Khan said he has got his sights set on representing his country at the 2024 T20 World Cup in June.
Zaman is one of many young up-and-coming pace prospects, but he has separated himself from the rest with his outstanding yorkers, which was generally unplayable.
Currently playing for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), the 22-year-old from Mirpur knows that he could potentially secure his spot in the national team for the T20 World Cup if he has a fantastic campaign.
“The T20 World Cup is also approaching, so the focus is on maintaining form and fitness for that,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
So far, Zaman has taken six wickets in five matches at an average of 30.83 and an economy rate of 10.18.
