Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir: “At the moment, I have moved on. I have different things in my life to do”

Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir has signalled that his international career is over, stating “I have moved on.”
Amir retired from international cricket in December 2020, but had teased the possibility of a comeback on a number of occasions.
However, the 31-year-old from Gujar Khan has seemingly closed the door on playing for his country again as he is focused on “different things in my life.”
“At the moment, I have moved on. I have different things in my life to do,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
Since retiring from international cricket, Amir has featured in many domestic T20 leagues and is also set to play county cricket for Derbyshire later this year.
Currently, he is playing for the Quetta Gladiators in the 2024 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he has taken two wickets in two games.
