Pakistan captain Babar Azam reportedly said it is not the time to experiment too much when it comes to the T20 team.
With the T20 World Cup set to be played in India in October this year, Azam wants the selectors to stick with a core group of players that will then go on to form the squad for the tournament.
Since the T20 World Cup is about seven months away, the 26-year-old wants the selectors to stick with certain players instead of looking to chop and change the squad regularly.
Babar Azam has communicated to PCB that he is in favour of some experimentation but not at such a late stage when it comes to the T20I squad given that it's a T20 World Cup year #Cricket

Azam’s next assignment will be the tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Pakistan will play three ODIs and four T20 Internationals against South Africa before heading to Zimbabwe for two Tests and three T20 Internationals.
Pakistan will depart for South Africa on March 26 and the tour will commence on April 2 and conclude on April 16. The ODI series will be played first.
The men in green will then head to Zimbabwe on April 17, but the dates for the matches have yet to be confirmed.
However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) noted that the national team will travel back to Lahore from Bulawayo on May 12.
