Mohammad Yousuf: “Asad Shafiq and Azhar Ali have also scored runs in England, during previous tours, and hopefully they will do the same this time around”

Mohammad Yousuf is backing Pakistan Test captain Azhar Ali and veteran batsman Asad Shafiq to excel during the upcoming series against England.

Pakistan are scheduled to play three Tests and three T20 Internationals against England, with the first Test starting on August 5 and the T20 series beginning on August 28.

Yousuf noted that Azhar and Shafiq have done well during previous tours to England and hopes that they lead by example during the upcoming series.

“Asad Shafiq and Azhar Ali have also scored runs in England, during previous tours, and hopefully they will do the same this time around,” Yousuf told Cricket Pakistan.
