Pakistan batsman Babar Azam admitted that he is “feeling very confident” about his form going into the two-Test series against Australia.
Azam is coming off a superb showing in the three-match Twenty20 series, which was his first assignment as Pakistan’s Twenty20 captain.
The 25-year-old accumulated 115 runs in three games, which included two half-centuries, at an average of 57.50.
With the Test series running from November 21 to December 3, Azam is determined to maintain his red-hot form and score lots of runs.
“I am feeling very confident about my form and will try to continue doing well,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion. “The longer format of the game requires a different mindset so I will work to get myself in the right frame of mind in the three-day and two-day games and hope to take the same form with me into the Test series as well.”
