Mickey Arthur: “Sarfaraz was ahead of the game in T20 cricket. He captained unbelievably well in this format”

Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur believes that Sarfaraz Ahmed was “ahead of the game in T20 cricket”.
Sarfaraz was recently stripped of the Twenty20 and Test captaincy, and was also dropped from both squads for Pakistan’s ongoing tour of Australia.
Arthur also hinted that Pakistan may have made a mistake in removing Sarfaraz as captain, especially in the shortest format.
Babar Azam replaced Sarfaraz as Twenty20 captain, while Azhar Ali took over as Test skipper.
“Sarfaraz was ahead of the game in T20 cricket. He captained unbelievably well in this format. His own form let him down but he captained exceptionally well. That’s a lot of experience from behind the stumps that’s suddenly gone out of the equation,” Arthur was quoted as saying by PakPassion.

It’s very early to babar azam as t20 captain..
Wrong decision.
Premeditated decision
correct decesion by pcb to drop sarfaraz.
when one can not be selected as a player
how he can become captain.
I think it was the correct decision as well. Rizwan just needs to be given time. If he doesn’t perform, time to give someone else a chance.

Un professional attitude of PCB!! Now they’ll pay for this till up coming T20 World Cup.
Let’s see how they do. They have a lot of talented young players, so it will be interesting to see if Pakistan stick with them or go back to veteran players.
