Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan finished with a career-best six wickets to lead his side to a convincing 224-run win over Bangladesh on the final day in Chattogram.
Starting off the day on 136/6, Bangladesh only added seven runs to their overnight score before skipper Shakib Al Hasan was caught behind off the bowling of debutant Zahir Khan for 44.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz only scored 12 runs before he was trapped lbw off the bowling of Rashid, who also took out Taijul Islam for a duck.
Bangladesh were eventually bowled out for 173 when Soumya Sarkar was caught by debutant Ibrahim Zadran at short leg off the bowling of Rashid for 15.
Rashid was the pick of the bowlers with six wickets, while Zahir took three and Mohammad Nabi claimed one.
Rashid was named Man of the Match.
