Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal believes that the major difference between him and India captain Virat Kohli is the support they receive from their respective cricket boards.
Akmal pointed out that Kohli is constantly being “guided” by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
However, in his case, Akmal feels as if the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not offered him enough support.

“His [Kohli’s] cricket board gave him a lot of support. They guided him and continue to guide him even now,” he told cricketpakistan.com.pk. “I am not saying that I was not given support. But you know very well who the cricket board backs and doesn’t back. I would request the cricket board to support its players. If you invest in a player, then don’t drop him before big tournaments.”
