Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir blocked a fan on Twitter after he called the nation a “terrorist country”.

The fan, Abhishek Bindal, was responding to a tweet by journalist Saj Sadiq on why people are making a big deal about Amir applying for a British passport.

In response, Bindal said that Amir should leave from the “terrorist country”, meaning Pakistan.

Bindal later provided a screenshot showing that Amir had blocked him.

Amir put his patriotism on show and proved that he loves his country and won’t tolerate people talking about it in a derogatory manner.

Amir, who shocked the cricketing community by retiring from Test cricket on Friday, is reportedly planning to buy a house in London on top of getting British citizenship.

However, he is still committed to playing for Pakistan as he will continue representing the national team in ODIs and Twenty20 Internationals.
