Pakistan batsmen Asad Shafiq and Shan Masood are the two latest names to join the list of players that could replace Sarfraz Ahmed as captain.

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Cricket Committee will meet on August 2 to decide about Sarfraz’s future as captain.

According to cricketpakistan.com.pk, Sarfraz will continue captaining the men in green in Twenty20 Internationals, but a new skipper will be chosen in Tests and ODIs.

Names Like Babar Azam, Mohammad Hafeez and Imad Wasim have already been mentioned, but Masood and Shafiq have entered the race as well.
