Legendary Pakistan pace bowler Shoaib Akhtar has revealed that he has no interest in becoming the national team’s head coach or taking up any other roles.

There has been a lot of speculation about Mickey Arthur’s future as his contract as head coach expired after the World Cup.

Reports indicate that he will be sacked, but the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will conduct a comprehensive review before making a decision.

“What do they (Pakistan) need to do? How can they change the whole scenario of Pakistan cricket? Look, I am not someone who needs a job. I am not someone who needs to be somewhere. Allah has given me everything,” he was quoted as saying by cricketpakistan.com.pk.
